‘Joyous exhibition of passing and movement’: Arsenal-linked maestro given 9/10 for weekend display
Reported Arsenal target Emiliano Buendia continues to shine for his club amid continued speculation linking the Argentine to the Emirates Stadium.
reported earlier this month that the Norwich ace is on Arsenal’s transfer shortlist and that manager Mikel Arteta is a big admirer of the player.
A source close to the player reportedly told the outlet that Buendia is “focused on Norwich and getting promoted”.

However, he has refused to rule out a possible January move saying that “it depends” on the Championship club.
On Saturday, Norwich ran out 2-0 winners over Cardiff to go five points clear at the top of the table, and Buendia once again impressed.
gave him 9 out of 10 and wrote: “Powered forward to slam home the opener.
“Which looked even better on the television replays, given he threaded it through two Bluebirds’ defenders.
“Taunted two Cardiff players before slipping in Todd Cantwell to seal the win. In between a joyous exhibition of passing and movement.”

Arsenal are currently going through a torrid time in the Premier League, sitting a lowly 15th in the table with eight defeats from their 14 games.
Creativity is proving a big issue for the Gunners, who are failing to fashion enough chances from open play, let alone scoring them, cue a mere 12 goals scored in the league.
Therefore, it would make sense for Arteta to be interested in Buendia, who has proven his creative credentials at Premier League level.
The 23-year-old’s key pass rate of 3.3 per 90 minutes last season was only second to Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne, while he created 70 chances, only bettered by De Bruyne and Liverpool’s Trent Alexander Arnold.
