Journalist thinks £15m player is going to end up signing for West Ham soon
West Ham look set to revamp their squad this summer.
The Hammers have already signed Max Kilman, while Julen Lopetegui is also hoping to add Jean-Clair Todibo to his side.
Meanwhile, a new striker is said to be something West Ham are keen to add, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been linked with a move to east London.
Now, West Ham are being linked with Reiss Nelson.
Reports emerged this week stating that the Hammers are keen on Nelson, and according to James Benge, speaking on Inside Arsenal, West Ham’s move for Nelson should come off.
West Ham likely to get Reiss Nelson
Benge shared what he knows about the £15m winger and West Ham’s interest.
“I know the interest is genuine, Tim Steidten has had Nelson on the list for a long time and when Lopetegui was at Wolves, there were conversations about him going there that January, so I think that one will happen,” Benge said.
“Crucially West Ham are one of the teams that can afford to cover that contract. I’m not sure if he’ll get all of that money from West Ham.”

Nelson is an exciting addition
This is a very exciting addition at West Ham.
Nelson may not have played that much football in recent times, but, at one point, he was seen as the brightest young talent at Arsenal.
Nelson is a player with bags of potential, and he’s shown that at times for Arsenal, he just needs the right opportunity to showcase his talents on a weekly basis.
West Ham have lots of exciting talent out wide such as Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus, and Nelson would be a fantastic complement to what is already a brilliant blend of talent on the wings.
West Ham’s first transfer window under Julen Lopetegui is quietly shaping up to be very exciting.
