This has been quite the summer to be a Leeds fan.
The outgoings have decimated the squad and now, there seems to be a real issue in them getting their top targets over the line.
With this one and Gus Hamer, this looks like a way for Leeds to try and unsettle the Sheffield United ace.
The Blades will see no real reason to sell Hamer and with a takeover pending, a low ball offer will have gone down like a lead balloon.
In a way, it’s probably better Leeds do move on.
