Journalist makes claim about Moussa Sissoko and Serge Aurier
Moussa Sissoko and Serge Aurier two of the hardest workers at Spurs during their time with the club after a fan suggested that the pair may have become a bad influence on Tanguy Ndombele.
Ndombele was a key protagonist during the summer transfer window at Hotspur Way.
Of course, he was heavily linked with a move away from North London. At one stage, .
But he also saw two of his closest friends leave the club. Sissoko completed a late move to Watford. Meanwhile, Aurier was released by mutual termination in the final hours of the window.
During a Q&A session on his YouTube channel, Gold was asked about the pair leaving. And the supporter who posed the question suggested that he had heard that Aurier and Sissoko were bad influences on Ndombele.
“I wouldn’t go that far. It’s too easy to just say that they were a bad influence,” . “I didn’t hear that, I didn’t get any impression that they were.
“What I would say about Moussa and Serge is that they were probably two of the hardest workers out there, certainly on the training ground. So I think that’s really unfair on them.”
Sissoko certainly proved his class after Spurs exit as midfielder comes in for criticism alongside Aurier
Admittedly, neither player ever seemed to silence all of their doubters during their time with Tottenham.
Aurier, in particular, never seemed to be able to cut the costly mistakes out of his game.
But based on the way Sissoko has handled his Spurs exit, it is hard to believe that he and Aurier were bad influences on Ndombele.
Sissoko was given an amazing reception as he left the pitch upon his return to Tottenham Hotspur with Watford. .
Of course, there were probably times when they were not happy. Neither featured in Nuno Espirito Santo’s plans before their departures.
But surely there is nothing that the pair would love to see more than Spurs succeeding with Ndombele at the heart of their side.
