Journalist is starting to think that £49m player wants to leave Liverpool this summer
Liverpool could be set for a blockbuster end to the transfer window as rumours start to do the rounds about numerous incomings and outgoings.
Indeed, the Reds are now being linked with a number of players, and perhaps the most interesting rumour doing the rounds at the moment is regarding Anthony Gordon.
The Newcastle winger is someone Liverpool are very keen on signing.
However, if Gordon does arrive, Liverpool may have one too many attacking options and a departure may have to be sanctioned.
Speaking on the , Dean Jones has been discussing a potential move to Anfield for Gordon, and he says that Luis Diaz could leave if Gordon comes in.
The journalist says that his feeling is that Diaz wants to go, claiming that the Colombian had his head turned last summer when Barcelona came sniffing around.

“Who is most likely to leave if Gordon does sign?” Jones was asked.
“I think Luis Diaz wants to leave. That is my feeling. He obviously had his head turned by Barcelona last season. What if they don’t sign Nico Williams?” Jones said.
Barcelona move may not come off
Luis Diaz is keen on a move to Barcelona, but unfortunately for the winger, this move isn’t likely to come off.
Indeed. Barcelona have some serious financial problems at the moment.
Barcelona have just agreed a deal to sign Dani Olmo, so their budget is already stretched as it is, so it’s hard to imagine they will be able to stump up the necessary cash to land a player like Diaz.
Diaz may be keen to leave Anfield to head to Camp Nou, but that move may not be possible this summer considering Barcelona’s financial situation.
This is certainly a situation to keep an eye on as Liverpool continue to be linked with Anthony Gordon.
