Josh Onomah finding his feet for Sheffield Wednesday is good news for Tottenham

Having shone for Aston Villa last season whilst on loan, 21-year-old Tottenhaꦰm ace Josh Onomah headed to Sheffield Wednesday before deadline day expecting to feature regularly.

In the first few weeks of his stay in the Steel C𝓀ity, it was far from easy for the attacking midfielder, being featured out of position on🐈 the left and from the substitutes’ bench.

Now though, Onomah is finally building up steams and has recorded assists in his two most recent starts for the Owls in the Championship, w🎃ith his fancy footwork catching the eye against Bristol City in particular.

Following that up with a ninth cap for England underꦿ 21s has s🅰een the youngster add the cherry to the cake with a strong display against Scotland under 21s.

Onomah is very♛ highly rated by those in north London and already has 32 first team appearances under his belt, albeit with an average of just 25 minuteꦆs per outing.

The youngster has undeniable potential but must produce the goods on a re𒁃gular basis, having almost matched his return for assists last season by October of this. As a regular for Villa, he scored four goals and set up three. For Wednesday, he must do better to earn a spot in Mauricio Pochettino’s team.
