Jose Mourinho has now told Roma to go and sign £32m Tottenham player along with Eric Dier
AS Roma boss Jose Mourinho isn’t just interested in signing Eric Dier from Tottenham Hotspur, he wants Sergio Reguilon too.
Spurs have an amazing squad of players right now, and when everyone’s fit, they are capable of going toe-to-toe with any club in the Premier League. Dier and Reguilon were regulars when Mourinho was at the club, but both of them are surplus to requirements now. The latter is currently on loan at Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho wants to sign Tottenham defender Sergio Reguilon
Manchester United signed Sergio Reguilon on a season-long loan deal from Tottenham Hotspur.
The ideal scenario for Spurs would be to see him complete the season at Old Trafford, but Erik ten Hag admitted earlier this month that there is a ‘break clause’ in his deal that gives them the option to send him back to North London ().
If that does happen, it is extremely unlikely that Ange Postecoglou will reintegrate him into his side, which means a move away would be very likely.
Borussia Dortmund have been linked with a move to sign Reguilon and now, his old boss, Jose Mourinho, is keen to sign him too, reports .
The AS Roma manager wants to strengthen his defence in the January transfer window. He has been heavily linked with a move to sign Eric Dier recently, and the report claims that he has told his club’s transfer chiefs to sign Reguilon now.
The Spaniard, who was signed by Mourinho at Tottenham in a £32 million deal (), played 29 times under the Special One in the 2020/21 season.

Tottenham’s Dier and Reguilon could revive their careers at Roma
Eric Dier has barely had a look-in at Tottenham this season, while Sergio Reguilon has impressed at times on loan at Manchester United.
However, both players’ futures are far from secure, and a move away in 2024 is very, very likely.
Mourinho appreciated both Dier and Reguilon during his time at Tottenham. Both of them fared really well under him as well at times, and there’s no reason why they won’t be a success if they’re reunited at Roma.
It will be interesting to see what will happen in the coming months, but we won’t be surprised at all to see these two deals go through if bids come in.
