Jordan Pickford thinks Tottenham have an ‘elite’ player in their ranks

Jordan Pickford has claimed that England teammate Harry Kane is an “elite” striker and said that he shoots from any angle.

Everton goalkeeper Pickford, who is also England’s number one, is one of the more experienced members within the Three Lions group for this summer’s Euro 2020 competition.

Additionally, England captain Kane is a senior figure, with the duo both part of the 2018 World Cup squad.

Pickford has given huge praise to his England colleague, who he rates extremely highly.

Kane, 27, goes into this summer’s competition as the England talisman. He can take confidence from scoring 33 goals in 49 Spurs appearances this season.

“He’s elite. He has that eye for goal. Any angle he will fancy himself. As a goalkeeper you have to be always prepared, if he gets half an inch he’ll be having a shot. He’s outstanding,” .

Pickford and Kane two key men for England

If Kane hits top form, England have a chance against anyone.

Gareth Southgate’s squad is stacked with attacking talent that in theory should provide great service for the Spurs frontman.

England’s creators just need to find Kane because he’s a deadly finisher.

Meanwhile, Pickford is someone who seems to be at his best in an England shirt.

The 27-year-old shot-stopper has shown some great form at times this campaign for Everton. It’s likely there will be some key moments for him to deliver at the Euros.
