Jordan Henderson praises Adrian’s training performances ahead of Everton clash

Adrian is set to play for Liverpool between the sticks in tomorrow’s Merseyside derby at Anfield and skipper Jordan Henderson says he looks ready for the challenge.

Speaking to , Henderson said the backup stopper has been training well, as he looks set to deputise for the suspended Alisson.

He : “Adri has done brilliantly when he’s come in during the season. He’s been in good shape in training, so hopefully he just continues that into the games where Ali will be missing. I think Adri has proven that he’s more than capable of doing a very good job there.

“It’s important to have everyone ready, everyone available when there’s injuries and to come in and be up to speed. We have got a lot of good players, a lot of players that maybe want to play a little bit more. But we’ve shown that we have got a really good squad and I’m sure we’ll need to use it from now right up until the end of the season.”
