Jordan Henderson delivers verdict of Rhian Brewster’s exit from Liverpool
Jordan Henderson has revealed he is both gutted and pleased about Rhian Brewster’s recent move to Sheffield United from Liverpool.
The young Englishman completed a permanent move to Bramall Lane for a reported £23.5 million () at the start of the month, something which divided the Reds fanbase.

Many were hoping to see Brewster given a first-team chance by Jurgen Klopp, but some saw the £23.5 million deal, which is said to include a buy-back, as good business.
Since his move to the Blades, Brewster has only made a couple of appearances, including against his former club at the weekend, and is yet to score.
One man who’s been speaking about Brewster’s exit is Henderson, who gave a mixed reaction.
He said (): “This might sound like a contradiction but like many of the senior players, I was both gutted and delighted for Rhi when he got his move to Sheffield United.

“Gutted because he is a top, top, top talent and an even better person. Gutted because he is a natural-born goalscorer and I know if he’d have had an opportunity here, he would have bagged plenty for us.
“But delighted for Rhi at the same time because he deserves to be starting matches regularly – and at this level.”
TBR’s View – Liverpool have covered themselves
Some fans may still be slightly upset at the Brewster sale, but he definitely needed to play regular football this term after shining for Swansea City out on loan.
It seems he couldn’t have got that by staying at Anfield and so his exit was facilitated.
Fortunately for Liverpool, there is that Brewster buy-back clause and so fans can always remember that there is an opportunity for him to return to Anfield a more mature player.
