Jordan Graham free-kick can help him get his career back on track after three frustrating years
As we entered 2016, Jordan Graham had the world at his feet. Despite being released by Aston Villa, he had rebuilt his career at Wolves and was on fire.
Every time Graham picked up the ball, there was a sense of anticipation; fans expected him to provide excitement down the wing.
But in mid-January 2016, he suffered a serious knee ligament injury which ended up ruling him out for 15 months.
When he finally returned, it was the end of the 2016/17 season and he managed two appearances.
But the past two seasons have been difficult for the Coventry-born winger, who has had unsuccessful loan spells at Fulham and Ipswich Town.
With just 10 appearances under his belt between the start of the 2017/18 season and January 2019, Graham decided to return to Oxford United on loan.

The 23-year-old had previously enjoyed a loan spell there just before his Wolves breakthrough and was ready to resurrect his career at The Kassam Stadium.
And in his 11th game for his new club, the ex-England under-17 man finally ended his goal drought which dated back to December 2015.
In an away match against Blackpool, Graham sent a stunning free-kick into the top corner, which proved to be the match-winner.
Graham would have felt an overwhelming sense of relief after ending three frustrating and disappointing years with a well-taken goal.
With age still on his side, this could help Graham get his career back on track, even if that is away from Wolves.
