Jonathan David in advanced talks over summer move after Tottenham and Man United made contact
TBR Football can exclusively reveal that Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United target Jonathan David is in advanced talks to join Barcelona.
David has been one of Lille’s best pl✅ayers since he joined them from Gent in 2020. He has scored over 100 go🌊als for Les Dogues and is a star there.
However, the Canada international has entered the final six months of his contract, and TBR Football revealed in September that David🐼 had🤡 told Lille that he wants to leave the club on a free transfer.
Now, the 25-year-old is close to making a decision♔ on his next club.

The Canadian, who is of interest to a host of Premier League clubs, is set to leave Lille for nothing once his contract expires in Ju🍃ly.
Thꩲe 25-year-old American-born Canada international striker has been in Europe since he was 18, when he joined Gent before moving to Lille in 2020.
During his spell in France, David has emerged as a huge talent – hitting double figures in every campaign, includ𒀰ing this one which has seen him bag 12 goals from 16 starts in Ligue 1.
However, he will be moving this summer and has been receiving pre-contra🍰cts from numerous teams, including many in the Premier League.
We can reveal that Manchester United, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham have all had contact with David’s ent𝓡ourage in the last few months. Inter Milan and Juventus are amongst the foreign clubs to have looked closely.
However, TBR Football is told that most of his suitors believe tha⛎t David has chosen his preferred option and that a deal is close. We can reveal that Barcelona is the club in question.
The Catal🐭ans are now in pole position to seal his deal and take him to the Camp Nou this 🗹summer. Talks are already at an advanced stage over a free transfer.

David has been courted by several big clubꦯs acros𝐆s Europe.
Moves to clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea are a🌜ppealing to any player, but the Canadian’s dream has always been to play for one club – Barce🌊lona.
“[Barcelona] was alwꦿays the team I grew up supporting. When you grow up supporting a team, it’s a dream to play for them,” he told in 2024.
Barca are looking for someone ideally to come in and rival Robert Lewandowski before taking over from the Polish legend – w꧃ho despite being 36 – has bagged 18 goals in 20 starts this season.
David, who has scored against Barcelona’s big rivals Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in the Champions League this term, is viewed as the ideal candidate.
