Former Rangers player Jonatan Johansson has been waxing lyrical about a current Ibrox player this week. The Finnish legend, who was also assistant manager at Ibrox under Pedro Caixinha, is a huge fan of his compatriot Glenn Kamara.
He praised Kamara’s excellent form for both club and country in recent weeks. He also spoke about speculation linking Kamara with an exit from Rangers, just a few months after joining from Dundee.

Brighton have been credited with an interest in the player recently. The 23-year-old even admitted playing in the Premier League is his dream,
Johansson believes that Kamara has the potential to be a Premier League star. However, , he feels Ibrox is currently the best place for him.
“We (Finland) are happy to have him and he is in a great place at Rangers where he can only get better…
“I am sure there will be teams looking at him now and in the future but it will be when the time is right for him and Rangers. He has got the potential and the skill to move forward but it is about enjoying your football and progression right now.”
Kamara joined Rangers in January in a bargain deal. , Kamara cost Rangers just £50,000 and that has proven to be a sensational piece of business.
Rangers will undoubtedly have absolutely no intention of selling the player this summer and Johansson is right to suggest Ibrox as a perfect place for him to continue progressing.
Gerrard will hope Kamara continues to shine in Glasgow next season.
