John Terry hails Liverpool player who ‘completely changed the game’ against Inter
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson put in a superb display as the Reds beat Inter in their Champions League last-16 first leg on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old began the game on the bench but Jurgen Klopp brought him on around the hour mark at the San Siro.
At the time, Liverpool were losing control of the game as the Nerazzurri turned the screw after the break.

The £20million man looked very assured and composed when he came on, and helped regain control of the midfield.
As the Inter players tired, this helped provide a springboard for Liverpool to break the deadlock and take the lead in the tie.
The Reds went on to win 2-0 as Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah scored late on.
Henderson took to Instagram on Thursday with a photo and message lauding Liverpool’s “big result at a special stadium”.
John Terry was among those who congratulated him in the replies:

Henderson struggled at times this season, and looked particularly lacklustre against Burnley last week.
Klopp took him off in that match after suffering a knock, but was fine to travel for the Champions League last-16 first-leg trip to Inter.
In the end, Henderson quickly silenced his critics with a superb display that went a long way towards helping Liverpool build up a superb first-leg lead.
The Reds remain in contention for all four trophies they’re contesting this season and Henderson is likely to have a big say over the coming months.
