John Hartson shares exciting Celtic transfer prediction ahead of deadline day
One signing is all that Celtic have to show after thirty days of the transfer window and it is fair to say that the supporters are a little bit exasperated by it.
Brendan Rodgers said he was looking to add quality (I can’t wait till the day I can stop writing this) and ever since those words were uttered, that set the expectation amongst the Celtic fans that this was going to be a busy transfer window.
As yet though, there has been nothing by the club and many are starting to believe that Celtic will not add any other new faces before the deadline tomorrow night.
Not so says John Hartson. The former Celtic hero is convinced that the club are working towards adding new faces and Hartson believes that Rodgers is set to get the players he wants.
Hartson said [], “I believe, and it is really only my thoughts, but I think over the next two days, I think they’ll bring in some quality.
“And it will be the quality that Brendan Rodgers has been craving all season.
“That’s how I feel because it’s a big 48 hours and a lot can happen in football.”

Quite what that quality will be is anyone’s guess. With Celtic apparently getting the green light to sign Adam Idah from Norwich City, the 22-year-old sounds more like a project signing than anything else.
What the fans are looking for is a player with a proven track record of winning trophies, being successful and having big-game experience. With the greatest of respect, a player from the English second tier who hasn’t won a major honour is not that player.
However, as Hartson says, a lot can happen in football. The Celtic fans will just be wishing it all happened a wee bit faster than it is right now.
