John Arne Riise admits he’d love to see Liverpool sign Borussia Dortmund star

John Arne Riise has claimed that he would love to see Liverpool sign Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland in the future, albeit he suggests it would be impos💧sible if they weren’t in the Champions League.

Haaland, 20, is already one of the supers﷽tars of world footb🌳all at such a young age and is a talisman for German club Dortmund.

The left-footed centre-forward currently has 29 goals in 28 games across a♔ll competitions this season.

He’s 🗹a charismatic striker that can score all types of different goals and already has eight in this year’s Champions League tournament.

Ex-Reds star Riise has waxed lyrical about the🦂 quality of Norwegian compatriot Haaland, who he’d love to see playing at Anfield in the future.

“He scares defenders with his pace and power and the main thing for me is he is hung🌟ry. He is hungry for more and more. His confidence is so high,” Riise told

“Obviously, I would lov꧙e Liverpool to sign Haaland, but he needs to be in the Champions League. He needs to be up against the best players and fighting for titles.

“It would be crazy if Haaland went to Liverpool. They would have an incredible front three or f🍸ouꦆr, but I don’t know if it can happen.”

TBR’s View:

Pre✅mier League audiences will surely hope they get to see Haaland in English football at some point, as he already looked one of the veꦛry best forwards in the world.

He’s operating at more than a goal-to-game ratio this season to highlight his freak﷽ish talent and definitely has the physicality to cope with the Premier League.

Whether Liverpool will be able to spend big in the upcoming transfer🍌 window remains to be seen, plus right now they are outside of the Champi𝔍ons League positions in the Premier League table and could struggle to attract the top superstars without a pass into next season’s elite club competition.

Jurgen Klop🦋p’s side could do with the injection or one or two top♐ players though next season to reinvigorate their talented squad.
