Joel Matip could be subject to a hellacious battle with Callum Wilson on Saturday
Liverpool defender Joel Matip could be subject to a real test of his defensive ability on Saturday.
The Reds take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium and have the chance to go top of the Premier League, albeit temporarily with Manchester City not in action until teatime against Chelsea.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have been going fanastically in the league and are just two points behind the Citizens.

But they take on a Bournemouth side who are flying high this season. The Cherries are currently seventh in the league, one spot above Manchester United.
Klopp has a number of injury problems ahead of the game, with Joe Gomez and Dejan Lovren both unavailable.
That should mean Matip comes in to start alongside Virgil van Dijk.
Matip vs Wilson
Bournemouth boast one of the players of the season so far in Callum Wilson.

The striker, who recently made his senior England debut, has scored eight goals and made eight assists in 15 appearances.
Matip turned out in midweek against Burnley but was largely untested by the Clarets. Although he looked lethargic in parts, he did grow into the game and was fairly dominant aerially.
Wilson is one of the most in-form strikers in the Premier League right now. He possesses electric pace and is extremely intelligent with his movement in the box.

He will seek to pin himself onto Matip as much as possible rather than van Dijk.
Matip has only made seven league apperances this season and has averaged just 0.4 tackles per game so far, but did get man of the match against Southampton back in September, .
