Joe Lolley could emulate success of fellow boyhood Aston Villa fan Jack Grealish
Aston Villa are back in the Premier League and are wasting no time with transfer business. Dean Smith’s men are already being linked with a host of players for their Premier League return.
Among them is Nottingham Forest’s Joe Lolley. , Aston Villa could launch a £10m bid for Nottingham Forest attacking midfielder Lolley.
The left-footed winger won Forest’s Player of the Year after lighting up the league. With 12 goals and 11 assists this season, it is no surprise to see top-flight clubs chasing him.
But Aston Villa is surely an attractive destination for Lolley. He was born in Redditch and grew up as an Aston Villa fan. If he moves to Villa Park, he will hope to follow in the footsteps of fellow boyhood Villa supporter Jack Grealish.

Since returning from injury, Grealish has been the man spearheading Aston Villa’s promotion push. The 23-year-old assumed the captaincy and plays with passion.
Aston Villa fans would surely love another player in the Grealish mould. Lolley, like Grealish, knows what it means to support Aston Villa and he is an exciting midfield talent too.
Lolley is a positive player who is always looking to move forward with the ball and create an opening. In that regard, his style of play has some similarities with Grealish’s. The pair could take Aston Villa to the next level in the coming year.
