Joe Cole says Man Utd have a player on their books who can be as good as Jude Bellingham

Jadon Sancho is set to play perhaps the biggest game of his career on Saturday night.

The Manchester United loanee is set to play in the Champions League final with Borussia Dortmund at Wembley against Real Madrid.

The winger has had a tumultuous time over the past 18 months as he’s fallen out of favour at Old Trafford, but a Champions League win could be the perfect way to re-introduce himself on the biggest of stages.

Speaking to , Joe Cole has been discussing Sancho and his potential, and Cole says that Sancho is a player he would love to coach, claiming that there’s no reason why he can’t be as good as Jude Bellingham or Phil Foden.

Joe Cole wants to coach Jadon Sancho

Cole spoke about the Manchester United loanee.

“Jadon Sancho is an incredible talent. He is one player I would liked to have coached, to have really talked to him and to have helped him.

“There’s no reason why Jadon Sancho can’t be where Jude is or where Phil Foden is, ability wise he is phenomenal. I feel like he needs an arm around the shoulder and he gets that at Dortmund, he feels like he’s home.”

Joe Cole would be Sancho’s perfect mentor

In a lot of ways, Cole would be an incredible mentor for Sancho.

These two are very similar as players. They’re both amazing dribblers who were at their best when they were playing with confidence, but, often, they struggled to find that confidence.

Cole has been where Sancho is right now, and he may be exactly the type of figure who can help Sancho get back on the right track and re-ignite his Manchester United career.

Maybe Sancho should pick up the phone and give Cole a call ahead of next season.
