Joe Cole makes definitive Cole Palmer claim after Chelsea star fails to score against Copenhagen
Chelsea are through to the Europa Conference League quarter-finals after beating FC Copenhagen 3-1 on aggregate.
The Blues won 2𒊎-1 in Denmark last week to gain the edge in the last-16 tie before then winning 1-0 at𒅌 Stamford Bridge on Thursday night.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was the match-winner for Chelsea as he slalomed through the Copenhagen def🦄ence before firing home on 55 minutes.
While it was a job well done for Chelsea in their Europa Conference League tie, it was another game in which the previously prolific Cole Palmer failed to score.
The 22-year-old has failed to score or register an assist in his last 💦nine games in all competitio🌊ns since scoring against Bournemouth two months ago in mid-January.

Joe Cole tells Cole Palmer to keep his cool as he stresses dry spell ‘will end’
Cole, speaking on TNT Sports, suggested that what Palmer is going through i🌊s normal, and he’ll have “loads of spells like this in his career”.
The former England international stressed that Palmer needs to keep his cool and stated that “the 🤡dry spell will end” eventually.
“Co𝕴le Palmer will have loads of spells like this in his career,” s✨aid Cole.
“He just needs to be calm an🌳d smooth, he looks like the coolesꦏt man in the room.
“It could be affecting him but what he needs to know is – listen, you’re going through a d🧸ry spell, it will end… h💫opefully on Sunday against Arsenal.”

Palmer c🦩ame on in the second half and, though he didn’t manage to contribute a goal or assist on this occasion, he transformed Chelsea’s attack when he c🥀ame on.

Chelsea are clearly a much better team with Palmerꦬ on the pitch and, as Cole says, dr⛎y spells like the one he’s in now won’t last forever.
Chelsea’s final match before the March international break sees them head to Arsenal for a 4ꦦ:30pm ki🗹ck-off in the Premier League.
