Anyone could manage Brendan Aaronson

Marsch spoke about the 23-year-old.

♒“What player did you most enjoy coaching?” Marsch was asked.

♋“Which player or which type of player? I found the challenging players more rewarding, like almost anyone can coach Brendan Aaronson, but the most talented players are ego-driven, they’re self-focused and they’re not as flexible because they know they’re the best player with the highest potential,” Marsch said.

Not that easy

ཧIt’s interesting for Marsch to say that any manager in the world could work with Aaronson. After all, Marsch struggled to really get the best out of him at Leeds.

🅺Indeed, the midfielder often looked lost on the pitch when he played for the Whites, and while Marsch says he’s easy to manage, he didn’t do a great job with Aaronson when he had the chance.

🍎Of course, the point Marsch is making is probably more around the fact Aaronson works hard in training and listens to instructions, but getting the best out of him on the pitch would appear to be a very difficult task as he’s been out of form over the past two years.
