Jesse Marsch provides fitness update on Jack Harrison after Leeds loss
Jesse Marsch has provided a fitness update on Jack Harrison, (broadcast on 11/5 from 19:00) that he is hopeful that the Leeds United winger’s injury is not too bad.
It proved to be another miserable night for the Whites at Elland Road. They were soundly beaten by Chelsea and remain in danger of falling out of the Premier League.

But the setbacks did not end there. Dan James was sent off for a really poor challenge during the first-half. And they also lost Harrison to injury before the break.
The winger started to struggle to run and had to be replaced by Junior Firpo. Of course, with Leeds in big trouble, the last thing they need is to lose Harrison for the final games of the campaign.

Perhaps positively, Marsch suggested that they are optimistic about his problem.
“We are hopeful that Jack isn’t too bad but he took a contusion that limited him from moving too much,” .

The problem for Leeds fans is Marsch has had a tendency to suggest that players may be back sooner than they prove to be. Kalvin Phillips did not come on against Wolves despite making the bench. And Marsch suggested afterwards that he had no intention of using the midfielder at Molineux.
Meanwhile, Liam Cooper was said to be ready to feature against Arsenal. Ultimately however, he played no part at the Emirates.
So there will be a worry that Marsch is choosing to be positive and Harrison simply will not have enough time to get ready for the games against Brighton or Brentford.
It would be a big blow if he is not available. He is a ‘fantastic‘ player. And he has scored some crucial goals this season. So not having him for the last two games would be tough to take with James suspended.
