Jermaine Beckford that he needs to take his hat off to Daniel James, insisting that he is a big fan of the winger following his display against Watford.
James has made a very impressive start to life at Elland Road. It initially appeared that he may struggle to break in ahead of Raphinha or Jack Harrison.

However, he is now starting to make a real impact on games. His pace caused all sorts of problems for the Hornets defence at the weekend.
And many will insist that he should have had a penalty during the first-half after seemingly being bundled down. Of course, that came after he was somehow not awarded a spot-kick after being brought down against Newcastle last month.

And Beckford suggested that the Wales international deserves a lot of credit for his performance in their first league win of the season.
“Danny James, can I just take my hat off to him,” .
“What a player he’s turning out to be. Bags of energy, bags of enthusiasm. He just doesn’t stop running, makes great movements, makes great runs, very positive. And I’m a big fan.”
Image of Dan James celebrating Leeds’ winner vs Watford tells its own story
James faced a couple of significant hurdles when he arrived on the final day of the transfer window.
Many fans felt that a central midfielder was needed more than another wide-man. And obviously, the club he joined from did him few favours.
But any doubts about what it may mean to James to play for Leeds have surely been dispelled by the image showing the 23-year-old celebrating Saturday’s goal.
James is on Diego Llorente’s back and the jubilation on his face is clear.
He is showing signs that suggest that he is going to be a fantastic signing. It certainly seems that the spot in the side is his right now.
