Jermain Defoe teases Kemar Roofe on Instagram, as Rangers prepare for Sparta Prague trip
Jermain Defoe has teased Kemar Roofe on Instagram after the Rangers attacker posted ahead of Thursday night’s trip to face Sparta Prague.
Rangers will be tasked with getting some points on the board in the capital of Czech Republic. The Gers suffered a 2-0 loss to Lyon in their first game.
Roofe, 28, is expected to be available for the outing – after only getting 20 minutes against Lyon. He is in excellent form for Steven Gerrard’s side.
This season, the ex-Leeds and Anderlecht striker has five goals in nine games during 21-22. Roofe scored this time last week, in the League Cup.
He will be hoping to continue his excellent goalscoring rate in at Rangers – netting 23 goals in 45 since his move to Ibrox.

There is a feel-good factor back at Rangers. While they might not be performing to their best standard, they are winning games again.
Having lost three of their opening four games, Steven Gerrard has since guided his side to seven wins out of their last 10 in all competitions.
Roofe has been crucial to that. In his nine games this season, he has helped Rangers win seven times – drawing one and losing to Lyon at Ibrox.
