Jeff Stelling says £60m Arsenal target has been even better than William Saliba at Euro 2024
Arsenal remain without a number of their players ahead of the pre-season efforts due to the ongoing international tournaments.
The international competitions may well have provided the likes of Arsenal with a hurdle to overcome when it comes to the summer transfer window.
Mikel Arteta is yet to see any new faces come through the doors at the Emirates Stadium this summer.
However, the Spaniard should be encouraged by some of the displays shown by his players whilst representing their national sides.
But it seems TalkSPORT’s Jeff Stelling believes there is one Premier League defender who has been even more impressive than William Saliba at the Euros.

Saliba has now established himself among the top defenders in the Premier League over recent years with his displays in north London.
The France international’s rise in England has coincided with Arsenal’s improvement which has led them to back-to-back Premier League challenges.
Following their victory on penalties over Portugal, Saliba’s return to north London has been pushed back further as France face a Germany in the final four.
Speaking on , Stelling has admitted he has been wowed by Arsenal’s Saliba at this summer’s European Championship but even more so by Marc Guehi.
“I was tortured about whether to put Saliba in this because I think he has been brilliant. You know, he does what it says on the tin,” Stelling said.
“He defends, but Marc Guehi, for me, he has been the surprise package. He has played better than I imagined he could.”

The Crystal Palace defender will be unable to play in England’s game on Saturday against Switzerland due to suspension.
However, Guehi is a player in demand this summer with Manchester United having shown an interest as they aim to bolster their squad.
They are not alone in admiring the player with Arsenal having also been linked with the £60m-rated Guehi previously this summer.
But any move from the Gunners may now be put into doubt with the Gunners close to completing a move for the Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori.
