Japan’s Shinji Kagawa could be the man to bolster Everton supply-line
Everton fans bemoaned the pragmatic style of football under Sam Allardyce last 🧸term, , highlighting the need for creative players this summer. And Borussia Dortmund’s Shinji Kagawa could go a long way towards solving the problem.
The 29-year-old arrived to Old Trafford in 2013, but failed to have the expected impact – having won the Bundesliga Player o🍃f the Year with Dortmund – and netted just six times in 57 appearan🐼ces in a two-year spell at Old Trafford. However, he showed glimpses of his immense talent, and secured a Premier League winners medal in his debut season.
Now, having returned to Dortmund, the Japanese international has had a resurgence in form bagging 31 goals in 🐈139 matches for the Bundesliga giants and now looks twice the player he was in Manchester.

Everton’s play-makers were shackled last season, but there’s still no doubting the likes of Davy Klaassen underwhelmed at Goodison Park, and with Wayne Rooney likely toℱ depart, further attacking additions are a must for Marco Silva this summer.
Kagawa was largely responsible for Japan’s best play in their 2-1 triumph against Colombia last week. And with owner Farhad Moshiri’s desire to bring Eꦰuropean football back to Everton in the near future, Kagawa is the calibre of player required to𝓰 get them there.
