Emotional occasion as Eric Dier leaves Tottenham Hotspur

It’s always a shame wh⛦en a stalwart leaves the club where he has pl🌳ied his trade for many years.

Tottenham have seen three such players depart in the last six months alone. Harry Kane, Hugꦿo Lloris and now Dier have all left.

Dier was an important player under Mauricio Pochett🍒ino as Spurs regularly challenged for the Premier League title in the 2010s and reached the Champions League final in 2019.

The 29-year-old, who Spurs bought from Sporting Lisbon for a reported  in♛ 2014, has made  competitiꦑve appearances for the Lilywhites.

However, Dier has been out of favour under Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou, with just four Premier🧸 League appearanꦫces under his belt this season.

And with Dragusin now through ♔the doors at Hotspur Way, Dier wou♒ld’ve slipped further down the pecking order.

It’s the kind of transfer that’s good for all parties, but it’s still an emotiꦍonal occasion. Best🍬 of luck to Dier at Bayern.
