Jamie Redknapp has just revealed where he thinks Arsenal will finish in the Premier League this season

Arsenal have established themselves as genuine title challengers under Mikel Arteta’s stewardship over the last couple of seasons.

They continued that notion on Saturday when they kicked off their Premier League campaign with a 2-0 victory over Wolves.

Bukayo Saka really impressed for The Gunners and Kai Havertz carried over his form from last season, netting a wonderful headed goal.

Now, Jamie Redknapp has just issued his Arsenal prediction.

Jamie Redknapp really believes Arsenal will win the Premier League

Speaking on Sky Sports on Sunday afternoon (1.02pm), Jamie Redknapp tipped Arsenal to finally pip Manchester City to the Premier League title.

“I do have a feeling for Arsenal,” said Redknapp.

“I think they are ready. They have been exceptional these past couple of seasons, very unfortunate they have been against the Manchester City juggernaut at the end of the season just time their run perfectly. I have a real feeling that Arsenal are going to, just push them all the way, but pip them this year.”

Arsenal still need a striker

Arsenal are certainly going to be up there for the title this season but they’re still perhaps an elite striker away from pipping Man City.

Whilst Kai Havertz has evidently been reinvented, it’s unlikely he’ll score 20 plus upfront, so they need to invest in a specialist number nine.

Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran could be a realistic and cheaper option to Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, who could cost suitors around £85m.

The Villa forward is thought to be available for £40m and showed his class against West Ham on Saturday, netting the winner in a 2-1 victory.
