Jamie O’Hara tells Ange Postecoglou exactly what he must do to save his Tottenham job
Jamie O’Hara has told Ange Postecoglou exactly what he must do in order to save his job at Tottenham Hotspur following yet another defeat.
Tottenham Hotspur lost 1-0 to Man City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with Erling Haaland’s first-half goal proving to be the only goal of a very dull game.
The defeat now places more pressure on Postecoglou whose team are seriously struggling in the Premier League and European football looking very unlikely.
But O’Hara insists there is one thing the Australian can do in order to make sure he is in the Tottenham dugout ahead of next season.

Jamie O’Hara urges Ange Postecoglou to focus on the Europa League
Jamie O’Hara urged Ange Postecoglou to focus on the Europa League and forget about the Premier League with Tottenham sitting in 13th place.
The former Spurs midfielder is confident that when the Lilywhites have their best players fit and available, they are the best placed team to win the competition.
Following their defeat to Man City, O’Hara told Sky Sports: “The Premier League for Tottenham is done. It’s over. It doesn’t matter where we finish, 12th or 9th, we’re not getting European football.
“But what we can do is win the Europa League – AZ Alkmaar is the biggest game of Ange Postecoglou’s career – that’s next week.
“He wants his best players fit, fresh and ready to go, that’s all his whole focus is, when we play Bournemouth in between that game – play a B-team, the Premier League doesn’t matter now.
“If we win the Europa League, we get Champions League football, Ange Postecoglou could go down as one of the most successful managers that we’ve had in recent times.
“Spurs with their best team, I would say, have got the best chance of winning the Europa League.”
Is the Premier League really out of question for Tottenham?
Ten points is the gap between them and Brighton, who are currently occupying eighth and a potential Europa League qualification spot.
That is quite a significant gap to bridge with 11 games remaining and Spurs attempting to juggle also playing Europa League football.

When you also factor in the North London club’s form under Postecoglou, ten points at this stage feels like a gap which is just too wide.
