Jamie O’Hara suggests Tottenham should sign ‘unbelievable’ player who’s way better than Timo Werner

Tottenham Hotspur might need a big January transfer window in order to get their season back on track.

The north London club have been incredibly up and down this term, and they find themselves mid-table in the Premier League.

Spurs have been poor at times this season, and some of their attacking players have been off the pace.

Ange Postecoglou publicly bashed Timo Werner last week, while Heung-Min Son has been criticised recently.

Tottenham may want to go into the market for a new attacker in January, and according to Jamie O’Hara, there’s a great option on the market right now.

Jamie O’Hara suggests Marcus Rashford for Tottenham

Jamie O’Hara suggested Marcus Rashford as a signing for Tottenham on social media.

Indeed, the pundit says that Rashford is a top player at his best, and he wouldn’t mind seeing him at Spurs.

Rashford is ready to leave Manchester United, and a team like Tottenham could capitalise on that opportunity.

As ever, Rashford proved to be a decisive topic online, and one fan claimed that Rashford isn’t the type of player Spurs should be after.

However, O’Hara argued back, claiming that Rashford, at his best, is a much better player than Timo Werner.

Marcus Rashford compared to Timo Werner

O’Hara says that Rashford is much better than Werner, and he’s not wrong.

Rashford’s stats in the Premier League are way better than Werner’s.

Werner has been heavily criticised this season, and while the same can be said for Rashford, at least Rashford has had higher highs.

Indeed, at his best, Rashford was an ‘unbelievable’ player who was scoring plenty of goals, but Werner has never had that sort of impact for either Chelsea or Tottenham.

Of course, whether or not Rashford would go to Tottenham is another matter.

Spurs and United historically don’t do much business.

Daniel Levy has a bad relationship with Manchester United after the Dimitar Berbatov saga more than 15 years ago.

Levy frustrated United in negotiations with Berbatov, and, since then, there hasn’t been a permanent transfer between both clubs.

United wanted Harry Kane at one point, but they were reluctant to do a deal because of Levy, so they won’t be so excited to start negotiations over a player like Rashford with Spurs.

This would be an intriguing signing, but this isn’t likely to happen.
