Jamie O’Hara says what he saw £180k-per-week Liverpool player do on international duty was just ‘unbelievable’

The international break is now coming to an end and Liverpool will see their players return to training over the coming days.

It has been a sensational start to the 2024/25 campaign for Arne Slot‘s side who sit joint-top of the league having yet to concede a single goal.

For some sides, the international break has provided some major issues with the likes of Arsenal suffering a seemingly significant injury to Martin Odegaard.

That has not been the case for Liverpool appear to have made it out of the break with any injury concerns.

Instead, they have seen some of their players excel on the international stage with Jamie O’Hara left wowed by one in particular.

Jamie O’Hara amazed by Liverpool player during England victory

Next up for Liverpool is a game on Saturday at home to Nottingham Forest who have also made a bright start to their season.

But it is apparent the Liverpool players away on international duty were able to maintain their fine start to the season with their respective sides.

And there was one, in particular, who really impressed the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, O’Hara.

Taking to social media during England’s victory over Finland, O’Hara admitted he was amazed by Trent Alexander-Arnold’s passing.

It will not have come as a surprise to many Liverpool fans who get to watch the right-back’s incredible ability on a regular basis.

However, O’Hara was left stunned by the defender’s ability to pick out a teammate during the game at Wembley Stadium.

“Trent’s passing is unbelievable,” O’Hara simply said on X.

Trent Alexander-Arnold’s England performance in numbers

The Liverpool right-back has now started both of England’s games under the watch of the interim manager Lee Carsley.

His display on the weekend against the Republic of Ireland was equally as impressive with the 25-year-old pinging the ball about for fun in Dublin.

Here is a roundup of Alexander-Arnold’s England display vs Finland…

It will be positive news for all Liverpool fans to see Alexander-Arnold not only come out of the break still but also maintaining his fine form.
