Jamie O’Hara says he’s so frustrated after watching one Tottenham player in the North London derby in person
Despite having much of the ball and forcing David Raya into a number of saves, Tottenham Hotspur endured an agonising day in the North London derby as they simply lacked quality at the crucial moments.
Once again, it was an impressive performance under Ange Postecoglou, but one which ultimately saw Tottenham come away with nothing as Gabriel Magalhaesඣ headed home Arsenal’s winner in the second-half.
ℱSpurs had the openings which could have led to a different outcome. Dominic Solanke squandered a great opportunity in the first 15 minutes, while Raya had to make a couple of smart stops early on.
But it was a member of the Tottenham side who left Jamie O’Hara particularly frustrated on social media.
Jamie O’Hara infuriated by Tottenham player during North London derby
According to , no player on either side had more attempts on goal than Brennan Johnson🌱 – with the Wales international hitting the target once, while two of his four attempts were blocked.

𒅌The 23-year-old blazed a good chance over the bar when the ball was laid off into his path on the right-hand side of the penalty area.
ꦏAnd it was during the first-half that O’Hara took to X to hit out at the youngster’s performance…

Time for Brennan Johnson’s potential to start being realised
൲Perhaps O’Hara’s frustration will stem from the fact that Johnson clearly has the talent to do so much better than he has done since arriving at Tottenham last year. He has just five goals and 10 assists in 37 games in all competitions.
Johnson is awaiting his first goal or assist in this campaign. But he was far from being the only Tottenham player who endured a poor afternoon in the final third. Neither Heung-min Son or James Maddison were able to make much happen.
Meanwhile, Wilson Odobert💎 did not appear to be an upgrade on what Johnson had been, particularly at a time when Arsenal looked less convincing when dealing with crosses into the box. Odobert was often looking to cut back onto his left foot.
𝓰Johnson clearly has huge potential, but Tottenham spent a hefty sum to bring him to the club, so it is understandable that some are demanding a lot more from him.
