Jamie O’Hara predicts if Arsenal knock Bayern Munich out in Champions League quarter-finals

Arsenal progressed to the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time in 14 years on Tuesday night with a penalty shootout win over Porto – and they could face Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich.

Bayern secured their place in the last eight despite a tricky run of form under Thomas Tuchel with a win over Lazio, beating the Italian side 3-0 in the return leg after losing 1-0 in the first leg, much like Arsenal.

Barcelona, Manchester City, PSG and Real Madrid are also in the hat for the quarter-finals. The final two will be determined on Wednesday night – Atletico Madrid or Inter Milan, and either Dortmund or PSV.

Tottenham fan Jamie O’Hara was discussing Arsenal’s chances in the quarter-finals, and he believes The Gunners are the worst side in the last eight. He thinks other clubs will be hoping they get Arsenal.

The former Spurs midfielder also said on that if they draw German champions Bayern – who have been well below par this season – then, Kane’s side will knock the Gunners out of the competition.

“Of the teams left, you went Arsenal. I’m going off the teams that have been there and done it. Be great [if they got Bayern in the quarter finals], Harry Kane would knock them out,” O’Hara told .

Jamie O’Hara thinks Bayern Munich would knock Arsenal out

Tony Cascarino said a couple of months ago that he feels Arsenal could go as far as the semi-finals and of course, it depends on who they draw in the next round. Getting Manchester City would be a tall order.

Bayern are struggling and Arsenal may fancy their chances. PSG and Barcelona are certainly not without their weaknesses. The winners of tonight’s two ties are also beatable. Arsenal have every chance.
