Jamie O’Hara has now delivered his verdict on who will win Saturday… Arsenal or Aston Villa

Ahead of a crucial game on the weekend, Jamie O’Hara has now shared his verdict on Arsenal’s trip to Aston Villa.

If there wasn’t already enough riding on the game, Villa’s win against Manchester City last night has now made the stakes increasingly high.

Unai Emery’s side have now leapfrogged City into third place, just four points behind title-leaders Arsenal.

And as Emery prepares to face his old team once again, even he may have found it hard to believe that it would represent a mid-season title clash.

If they weren’t already, Villa’s chances of success this season now have to be taken very seriously.

And on that note, Jamie O’Hara has now made a very bold call on Villa’s chances against Arsenal.

Speaking on last night, he said: “I fancy you [Villa]. I think you will do them.”

Of course, Arsenal fans would probably like to remind the pundit of their own upwards trajectory.

Mikel Arteta’s side have only tasted defeat on one occasion this season, a controversial one in the North East.

Jamie O’Hara thinks Aston Villa have the quality to beat Arsenal on Saturday

Saturday evening is bound to be a very telling one for both the title and the top four race.

Perhaps both teams would accept a draw before kick off, such are the high stakes.

And if meeting between Emery and Arsenal wasn’t enough narrative already, Douglas Luiz will now face the team he seemed to publicly flirt with recently.

Arsenal are often linked with the midfielder, someone Arteta would surely love to have in his team.

However, he will be devising a game plan to limit the Brazilian this weekend.

And with Arteta’s selection in mind, it seems that one of Arsenal’s stars may actually be at risk of losing his spot in the long term.

It’s a bold prediction for O’Hara to choose Villa over Arsenal, a fixture that The Gunners won in dramatic fashion last season.

However, Martin Keown would seemingly be warning Arsenal about the quality of one Villa player ahead of this big tie.
