Jamie O’Hara explains how he regrets leaving Tottenham in 2011

that💫 he regrets leaving Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2011 to move to Wolverhampton Wanderers, and wishes he remained at the club despite a lack of game 🅠time.

O’Hara, 33, came through th💫e ranks at north London rivals Arsenal – joining the Gunners as a 12-year-old and staying at the club until he was 17. However, Tottenham came calling, and lured the midfielder to across northꦑ London in 2003.

The midfielder broke𒁃 into Tottenham’s ไsenior side, making his debut under Juande Ramos and clocking up 56 appearances in all competitions for Spurs. However, he was in and out of the side and went on loan four times.

The final loan saw O’Hara opt to make it permanent – joining Wolves for £5million () in 2011 as a 24-year-old. Spells at Blackpool, Fulham and Gillingham followed, before becoming Billeri꧂cay Tow💞n manager. He spoke of his regret at leaving Spurs.

“I was in and out of the team but I felt part of the football club꧅,” . “I wasn’t starting the Premier League games and at that point, I wanted to. The Premier League was the pinnacle. We signed Lukaꦛ Modric, it was hard.

“I left and went to Wolves and that’s probably one of the ones where I think, I should’ve stuck it out. When you ste🎶p down and leave a big club, thinking you can get back to the top, it never materialises. I should’ve stayed at the top.”

Unfortunately for O’Hara, Tottenham’s midfield was glittered with top talent during the season in which he left. As O’Hara mentions Modric had been signed, while Jermaine Jenas, Tom Huddlestone, Rafael van der Vaart and more wanted a plac෴e.

Wolves fans reacted to O’Hara’s comments about regretting his exit, and many have responded by saying they also regret O’Hara’s🦩 exit from Tottenham – wishing the midfielder had stayed at Spurs instead of moving to Molineux.
