‘What is going on?’: Carragher reacts to Liverpool v Forest and can’t believe how bad one Red was
Jamie Carragher has reacted to Liverpool losing at Nottingham Forest today and can’t believe how bad Fabinho has become.
The Brazilian midfielder had another poor performance in the middle of the park as Forest’s midfield three harried the Liverpool midfield out of possession. Steve Cooper got his tactics spot on, and in the end, Liverpool had no answer to it.
And watching on from afar, former Liverpool defender to react to the performance of both the Reds and Fabinho in particular.
Fabinho seemed to really miss Thiago alongside him in the middle while up front, Liverpool missed the presence of Darwin Nunez as Mo Salah once again had a shocker by his own very high standards.
Liverpool are now playing catch up once again in the Premier League table. After such a good week in which they beat Man City and then West Ham, Jurgen Klopp will be furious to see his side blow a big chance like this.
Carragher, meanwhile, will no doubt have plenty to say about Liverpool if he’s on the tv over the weekend.
TBR’s View: Liverpool Need Fresh Faces
Injuries are playing their part with Liverpool but then again, a lot of other sides are missing players as well. Right now, they just don’t look like the Liverpool we have seen for so long.
Jurgen Klopp needs to start getting more of a tune from his side but on another day, they could have also scored a few.
They missed countless chances from set-pieces and that will worry Klopp, who will be acutely aware how important it is to take chances in the Premier League.
