James Tavernier and Steven Davis react as player leaves Rangers on permanent deal

George Edmundson has completed a permanent move to League One side Ipswich Town from Rangers. It has been a difficult time north of the border for the powerful centre-back, struggling for game time. James Tavernier and Steven Davis have given their verdicts on Edmundson leaving Rangers.

Edmundson, 23, joined Rangers in the summer of 2019 having clocked up 79 appearances for boyhood club Oldham Athletic. But the defender only ever got 17 appearances under Steven Gerrard in the 18 months he was situated at Rangers. In the second half of last season, he went on loan to Derby.
