James McFadden picked out centre-forward Albian Ajeti for big praise after his Celtic performance on Tuesday night.
The Bhoys secured just their second win of 2021 with a convincing 4-0 victory away to Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership fixture.
Neil Lennon’s side have been on a poor run of form domestically, but do at least have two wins in three games now.
Ajeti scored the final goal last night in the 4-0 rout, as he tucked in a powerful low finish after running through on goal and finishing one-on-one with the goalkeeper.
The 23-year-old has had a stop-start season since his summer transfer, which is why he’ll be desperate to try now find his best form.
Sky Sports pundit McFadden singled out the Swiss attacker for his Kilmarnock performance.
“He came in for a lot of money, £5million, and he hasn’t really been able to find any form through injuries, lack of fitness,”
“But he certainly looked fit and strong [against Kilmarnock], showed great strength. When he first came in that if he gets into those positions in the box he is a finisher. He wants to score goals.”

TBR’s View:
Ajeti has scored six goals in 24 appearances across all competitions since his switch to Parkhead from West Ham, but it must be pointed out he’s had to deal with plenty of obstacles already.
The team have been crying out for another striker at the front end of the pitch and unfortunately Ajeti hasn’t really looked up to full speed.
He now needs to start repaying his transfer fee and a strong final few months of this season could set him up for next year.
