James Maddison has now shared what Yves Bissouma did in Tottenham dressing room after returning

James Maddison has now shared what Yves Bissouma did immediately after returning to Tottenham from the Africa Cup of Nations.

The 27-year-old posted a video of the Mali international on his temporary Instagram story.

So, what did Yves Bissouma do after returning to Tottenham? Let’s take a look…

What Bissouma did after returning to Tottenham

Well, the Tottenham No.8 is back in north London after Mali suffered a 2-1 defeat to the Ivory Coast in the AFCON quarter-finals on Saturday.

While some may have assumed that Bissouma would be tired after his experience in the Ivory Coast, he seemed anything but lethargic as Maddison filmed his teammate hopping around and dancing to music inside Hotspur Way.

The England international captioned the “he’s been back two minutes” as the man bounced around the dressing room energetically alongside Emerson Royal.

AFCON must have taken a lot out of Bissouma – both physically and mentally – so it is nice to see the Malian in good spirits.

Hojbjerg surely sweating as Bissouma returns

In our view, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is about to see his playing time decrease significantly now Bissouma is back.

The Denmark international has been named in the starting XI regularly while Pape Matar Sarr and Bissouma have been away in the Ivory Coast.

Now, however – with the African duo back in N17 – Hojbjerg will surely drop to the bench once again, where he started most games before AFCON began.

The Tottenham No.5 did not start in the Premier League until the end of October.

Hojbjerg is a model professional, but he does not possess anything close to the quality Bissouma and Sarr possess when it comes to dribbling past opponents and surging into space, which is a key feature for any Ange Postecoglou midfielder to have.

Hopefully, Bissouma – who could soon be handed a new contract – is ready to start once again for Tottenham very soon.
