Jack Harrison praises ‘fantastic’ Leeds teammate Raphinha

Leeds United’s Jack Harrison praised the quality of attacking teammate Raphinha after the team’s win over Crystal Palace on Monday night.

Marcelo Bielsa’s team secured three points in the Premier League by beating Palace 2-0 at Elland Road, which avenged the 4-1 defeat to them from earlier in the season.

Harrison, 24, scored the opening goal with his deflected shot and he’s an energetic attacker that plays on one of the wings.

Meanwhile, 24-year-old wide player Raphinha usually operates on the opposite flank, with the duo capable of swapping wings in-game.

Raphinha didn’t get on the scoresheet against Palace, but he was instrumental with his all-round game in the final third and has been a superb summer signing for the Yorkshire club.

Harrison has applauded the ability of his Leeds teammate:

“Fantastic player. You see his skill and his talent every time he steps on the pitch. He’s a quality player for us and just hope he can continue in this form,” Harrison said, as quoted by

Unfortunately, Helder Costa finds himself on the bench nowadays at Leeds, which is a shame after the role he played in promotion last season.

But Leeds currently have two wingers that are in great form right now and it looks impossible for manager Bielsa to drop either of them.

Harrison has taken to the top-flight so effortlessly and is performing like last year, while Raphinha has immediately brought into the idea of hard work defensively and he brings a touch of extra class in possession.
