Jack Harrison claims Leeds already have an agreement in place to sign him permanently

that he already has an agreement in place with Leeds United to join the newly-promoted Premier League side on a permanent basis in the summer from Manchester City.

Harrison, 24, is in his third season on loan at Leeds, having initially joined the club during 2018-29. His improvement each season has been rapid – struggling to begin with, with just four goals and three assists in 37 league games.

That was much improved during last season’s promotion, in which the England Under-21 ace had a hand in 14 goals. This season, despite being in the Premier League, he has scored five and created four in 20 league games.

Despite that, he remains only on loan though the claim a permanent option would set Leeds back £10million in the summer. Harrison has told Wahl’s Futbol that a deal is in place – but that his agent knows more than him.

“I think this summer something is already in place, my agent knows more about all of this stuff than I do,” “Leeds has been incredible to me, I’ve developed a lot whilst I’ve been here.

“We always joke that I’m going to come back for a fourth year on loan. I think a lot of the lads still find it hard to believe I’m still on loan. We’ll see what happens in the summer.”

TBR’s view – Getting Harrison on a permanent must be done

There is no two ways about it, Leeds have got to get Harrison signed permanently. His performances in the Premier League have been sensational, especially as many Leeds fans remember a slight Harrison struggling in his first loan.

He has bulked up and massively improved his end product. His confidence is much higher, and he has found his home. It goes without saying that at £10million, Leeds must get a deal done. Failure to do so, and fans will be fuming.
