Jack Grealish reacts on Twitter as Aston Villa sack Dean Smith
Jack Grealish has taken to Twitter to share his reaction to the news that Aston Villa have parted company with Dean Smith.
Smith’s departure was announced on Sunday afternoon after a terrible run of form for the Villans.

They had lost their previous five, with the final game of Smith’s tenure coming on Friday night as Villa were beaten 1-0 by Southampton on the south coast.
Villa were subsequently linked with a move for Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand. At the time, it appeared that there was a question mark over Smith’s future. But now, the news has come through that Smith has gone.
It is a sad end to a fantastic tenure for the 50-year-old. He joined the club in 2018 while Villa were languishing in the bottom-half of the Championship table.

They went on to win promotion that season. And after narrowly avoiding relegation in their first year back in the top flight, Villa threatened to finish in the European spots last term.
Unfortunately, the Villans were unable to capatilise on the progress this season.
Of course, one of the key moments in Smith’s tenure will prove to be the decision to sell Grealish in the summer.

It had appeared that the club had done some smart business with the funds that came in from their talisman leaving. The likes of Leon Bailey and Danny Ings came in.
But just a few months on, Smith has now been moved on.
Grealish has now reacted to the news. He sent an incredibly classy message about his old boss as the club posted their own tribute on social media…
