Jack Clarke ‘likes’ Charlton player’s post after Leeds defeat on Instagram

Leeds United were beaten by Charlton Athletic on Saturday afternoon in a defeat that sees Marcelo Bielsa’s side srop to fourth in the Championship table – and fans will not be happy with Jack Clarke’s social media activity after the match.

Clarke, 18, was left out of the Leeds side once again as he continues to fall victim of the EFL’s five loanee rule. Football League clubs are only permitted to name five loan players in their 18-man matchday squads.

Ben White, Jack Harrison and Helder Costa all started against Charlton ans remain crucial, while Eddie Nketiah and Illan Meslier have firmly cemented their place on the substitutes bench at Elland Road.

Conor Gallagher was excellent for Charlton on Saturday, and he posted on Instagram after the match after winning the man of the match award for Charlton in their unexpected 1-0 win over the favourites for promotion.

Clarke is said to be unhappy, , with a return to Tottenham in January likely to be on the cards – and another loan orchestrated for the teenager. He has been handed just two Carabao Cup appearances this season.

The England Under-20 international’s unhappiness shone through on Instagram, by liking Charlton star Conor Gallagher’s post.
