Does Izzy Brown arrival suggest Leeds United will loan out Tyler Roberts?
Leeds United are set to complete another loan signing before the window shuts on Friday. Izzy Brown is set to join the club on a season-long loan deal, where he will team up with fellow Chelsea loanees Jamal Blackman and Lewis Baker.
The 21-year-old, who has previously enjoyed a loan spell at Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town, has recently recovered from a knee injury and will add depth in Leeds’ attacking positions.
The England youth international can play as a winger or forward and is similar in playing style to Tyler Roberts. The pair, in fact, came through the youth academy at West Brom together, so will know each other well.

However, Brown’s arrival might be bad news for the Welsh forward.
Roberts has not had the impact he would have. A broken foot meant he did not feature for the club at all last season and he is now on the periphery of the first-team.
With Brown’s arrival, Roberts has yet another rival for first-team football at Elland Road.
The 19-year-old remains a top talent and Leeds will hope he goes on to become a regular in the future. However, perhaps a loan spell away from the club is now the best option for 2018-19.
