‘I’ve never seen something like this’: Pablo Mari says he was blown away by ‘amazing’ Arsenal man
Arsenal loanee Pablo Mari has heaped praise on Mikel Arteta and his work behind the scenes at the Emirates.
The 28-year-old initially joined the Gunners on loan from Brazilian side Flamengo in January 2020. That deal was made permanent in the summer of the same year and Mari had his good moments in an Arsenal shirt.
However, Ben White and Gabriel Magalhaes’ solid partnership at the back pushed him down the pecking order and he had to leave the club on loan in January to get some game time.
Now at Udinese, Mari was quizzed about Arteta’s tactics and the defender raved about his compatriot.

The Arsenal loanee said in an interview with : “I have to say he is one of the best coaches in the world because when he does the game plan … I never see it like this.
“How he finds solutions for us and makes it easy to play the game: I’ve never seen something like this.
“That means he is an amazing coach.
“To give you the tools to play a game more easily, that’s amazing because when you go to the pitch, you already have in your head the type of thing you have to do to play easy.”

Almost every player who has worked with Arteta has raved about him and his tactics.
Many Arsenal fans couldn’t quite see it during the Gunners’ difficult periods over the last two years, but recently, Arteta’s plans seem to be coming to fruition.
Arsenal look really good now and are the favourites to get into the top four at the end of this season.
If they can achieve that, Arteta deserves a ton of credit for taking his side from the bottom of the league table after three games to the Champions League.
