‘I’ve been impressed’: Neil Lennon hails 19-year-old Liverpool ace v Milan
Liverpool midfielder Tyler Morton has been praised by Neil Lennon for his Reds display in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Jurgen Klopp rang the changes for Liverpool in their final Champions League Group B game away in Italy.
Liverpool had already qualified for the last 16 as group winners, so they could afford to rest players.

Morton, one of the brightest youngsters to come through the Reds ranks in recent years, started the game.
And he was thoroughly impressive for Liverpool, bossing the midfield against the Serie A league leaders.
Lennon, commentating on BBC Radio 5 Live, hailed the 19-year-old’s efforts.
“I’ve been impressed by Tyler Morton, everything’s going through him,” he said ().
“He’s trying to dictate the play as much as he can for Liverpool.”
Liverpool ran out 2-1 winners at Milan.
The Reds became the first English side in history to win all six games in a Champions League group stage.

Morton has been with Liverpool’s academy since the age of seven and made his Under-23s debut in 2020-21.
He netted 10 goals for the Liverpool U18s and U23s in 2020-21.
Morton also played a key role as the young Reds reached the FA Youth Cup final.
This season, he has made 15 competitive appearances in all competitions.
This included his senior debut in the Carabao Cup win over Norwich.
Prior to Tuesday night, he also played the full 90 minutes against Porto in the Champions League and came off the bench against Arsenal in the league.
Needless to say, Morton didn’t look out of place on the biggest stage of all against a top team.
Surely it won’t be long before he’s a first-team regular at Anfield.
