‘I’ve been impressed’: David Moyes blown away by 26-year-old Liverpool reportedly want at the World Cup
David Moyes has praised reported Liverpool target Sofyan Amrabat’s performances for Morocco at the World Cup.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has already met with the representative of midfielder Amrabat,
More talks are apparently planned between Liverpool and Amrabat’s representatives as Klopp looks to overhaul his midfield options.
Amrabat has been sensational in midfield for Morocco as they have stunned Belgium and Spain to reach the quarter-finals in Qatar, where they will face Portugal on Saturday.

Moyes on Amrabat
West Ham boss Moyes told the how impressed he has been with the 26-year-old, who has taken his profile to new levels at the tournament.
Previewing Morocco’s game with Portugal, he wrote: “I’ve been impressed with the energy, attitude and quality of their holding midfielder, Sofyan Amrabat.”
Moyes may well soon be trying to set up a team against Amrabat in the Premier League if his World Cup displays earn him a big move.
Liverpool need a midfield overhaul, some fresh energy in place of players who are either too old or too injury prone for the next stage of what Klopp is trying to do.
Jude Bellingham would be an enormous coup, especially given the sporting and financial might of Manchester City and Real Madrid in that particular transfer tussle.
But Liverpool need more, and Amrabat’s style looks a perfect fit for how Klopp wants his side to play so that particular transfer chase is one to watch.
