Ivan Toney’s has new asking price on deadline-day after Arsenal and Chelsea links
Arsenal now face a race against time to get some deals done on deadline day, whereas Chelsea have been welcoming new faces like there’s no tomorrow.
Mikel Arteta‘s side have gotten off to the best possible start in the Premier League having taken maximum points from their opening two games without even conceding a goal.
Chelsea have been handed a tough start to their season with defeat to Manchester City in the opening game followed up by a 6-2 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Gunners have already welcomed the likes of Riccardo Calafiori and Mikel Merino to the club, as well as signing David Raya permanently.
Meanwhile, the list is too long for Chelsea but a few of their headline signings have been Joao Felix, Pedro Neto and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City.
And, it appears as if a target for both of these sides has had his price tag slashed for deadline day…
Ivan Toney has a new cut-price value as Brentford look to sell amid Chelsea and Arsenal interest
It has been claimed by Ben Jacobs that Toney would be more likely to join Chelsea over Arsenal.
Now, speaking on , Miguel Delaney has claimed that Toney is available for £35 million.
“Brentford’s price for Ivan Toney has basically dropped from £60 million to £35 million”.
With Aaron Ramsdale leaving Arsenal for a potential £25 million and Eddie Nketiah joining Crystal Palace for around £30 million, there are definitely the funds available should Arsenal want to proceed.

Do Chelsea or Arsenal need Ivan Toney more?
Arsenal have Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus as their only two options up top, so there’s naturally room for a goalscorer who can guarantee 20 goals a season.
Chelsea have Nicolas Jackson leading their line at the moment with Joao Felix and Marc Guiu as the only other two strikers being used by Enzo Maresca.
Mikel Arteta can obviously offer Ivan Toney Champions League football, whereas the Blues find themselves in the Europa Conference League.
Todd Boehly will be able to offer the Englishman a bigger wage packet which could be a deciding factor if he does move somewhere else in England, as Toney has been keen on the money available in Saudi.
