‘It’s your time’ – Liverpool fans excited for Rhian Brewster’s debut against Barcelona

Liverpool face Barcelona tonight and must overturn a three-goal deficit from their first leg at the Nou Camp.

As the Reds welcome Barcelona to Anfield, one eye will already be on next Sunday. Liverpool must win and hope that Manchester City drop points to beat them to the Premier League title.

And this could present an opportunity to Rhian Brewster. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has all but confirmed that Brewster will make his debut tonight.

With Roberto Firmino still out and Mo Salah joining the Brazilian on the sidelines, there is a vacancy in the Liverpool attack.

Daniel Sturridge has started in Firmino’s absence and Divock Origi came off the bench to score a vital winner against Newcastle United.

But Brewster is now in the mix for a start. : “He’s ready. There is a big chance. It’s nearly sure. It’s guaranteed.”

The 19-year-old has been out with a long-term injury but recently made a goalscoring return for the U23 team. And the England youth striker now looks set to step up and gain first-team minutes.

It is a chance for Brewster to show fans what he is about. Here are some tweets discussing his potential debut.
