‘It’s obvious’: Some Arsenal fans think Arteta’s just revealed who’ll start vs Burnley

Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after Mikel Arteta commented on Aaron Ramsdale’s performance in the 1-0 win over Norwich.
What’s the story?
Well, the man was making his Premier League debut for Arsenal after Arteta selected him ahead of Bernd Leno.
Now, some Arsenal fans seem to think this means the No.1 shirt is Ramsdale’s to lose from this point on, with Burnley up next.
In fairness, they might just be right.
Aaron Ramsdale now a starter for Arsenal

If the Gunners had lost this game, there would’ve been carnage around north London.
The pressure on Arteta was – well, still is – immense, and Arsenal simply had to beat Norwich after losing their first three Premier League games this term.
When a game like this comes around, a manager isn’t going to mess around with his team selection – he’ll choose those he trusts most.

In that respect, it was telling that he handed Ramsdale a start for this game, leaving Leno on the sidelines.
The Chesterton-born glovesman certainly took his chance.
Now, the No.1 shirt is his to lose, in our view.
Let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying about Arteta’s comments on Ramsdale…
Evident by Arteta’s quotes post-game that Aaron Ramsdale has huge chances of starting again next game.

It’s obvious he’ll start tbh, Leno might push for a move in jan

U don’t spend £24m on a keeper to play a few games a season.

As he should, only as good as his last game and I thought he was excellent. Adds another layer and allows us to operate from the back

I think its safe to say…Arsenal need to shop for at least 4 players or 3 come January…a goal scoring midfielder is important…A top striker..we need that…someone to replace average pepe too…and anoda CB and Ruben neves

It was always evident that Ramsdale was starting straight away.. Leno lost his No. 1 when he said he doesn’t mind moving and refused new contract.. Aaron also talks more and encourage and pats on the back when Gab or Ben defend well and shouts when we don’t
